The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) ComEd, Nicor, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas offers Illinois manufacturers and organizations in the public sector energy cost optimization planning and implementation services. DCEO has contracted with Utilivate Technologies to provide its proprietary, 3-Step Sustainable Energy Planning (SEP) Workshop program:

Step 1: The Sustainable Energy Planning Workshop provides powerful new tools to reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, and maximize avoided energy costs. The SEP Workshop engages and empowers your energy team to create a sustainable energy management plan to ensure both immediate and long-term energy usage reductions. Customized, on-site instruction is a program option for organizations that have participated in prior SEP workshops.

Step 2: Our staffs of energy experts provide "hands on" consulting and coaching support to implement energy conservation measures; including assistance with incentive applications and project management/facilitation to implement specific energy performance upgrades or retrofits.

Step 3: A follow-up session allows participants to share lessons learned, strategies to win incentive dollars, and best industry practices regarding energy conservation.

Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) will underwrite over 90% of total program fees; each organization pays only $500. Three people from your organization can attend for this single organization fee of $500... which allows participation of your whole energy team!
